Bridges to Prosperity Project Blog

On 23 November, WilkinsonEyre along with COWI are proud to be sending a collective team of nine staff to Rwanda to help construct a 43m suspension bridge across the river Sebeya.

The project is being run in collaboration with Bridges to Prosperity, a global charity who work with local communities, partners and foundations to build footbridges that connect residents to education, health care and economic opportunity. Designing, building and maintaining environmentally sustainable bridges across the globe, the initiative aims to “connect the rural last mile to the rest of the world” through helping to fight rural isolation.

Check back to this page for regular updates on the initiative, life on site and insights into the wider engagement with the communities of Kigarama-Musabike!
