Thinking 3D: Leonardo to present

Thinking 3D: Leonardo to present, currently showing at the Bodelian Library charts the development of three-dimensional communication over the last 500 years using books, manuscripts, prints and drawings. As part of the exhibition, from 6 September - 31 October, Director Jim Eyre will guest curate a case of architectural objects exploring the impact of new technologies on building design. From representations in 2D to the new normal of 3D modelling, architects are creating new ways to better express, articulate and visualise buildings long before they are built. The case will explore the technical execution of three of WilkinsonEyre's most ambitious structures; Battersea Power Station, the Bridge of Aspiration and the Guangzhou International Finance Centre
