Royal Academy Summer Exhibition

As is tradition, every year WilkinsonEyre enjoys a private view of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Alongside breakfast and a freshly poured coffee, the event is a brilliant opportunity to take a look around the exhibition before the doors open to the public.

In the exhibition this year, WilkinsonEyre is exhibiting a plethora of works including our model for the redevelopment of the Compton & Edrich Stands at Lord’s Cricket Ground, a sketch of New York City by director Chris Wilkinson and drone footage of our iconic Gasholders London.

Run without interruption since 1769, the Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show and brings together art in all mediums – prints and paintings, film, photography, sculpture, architectural works and more – by leading artists as well as new and emerging talent. The exhibition was this year coordinated by British painter Jock McFadyen. Thank you to the Royal Academy for hosting the practice once again.
