Gasholders London longlisted for the 2019 EU Mies Award

More than 380 projects from across 36 European countries have been nominated for this year’s European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.

From the 12 nominated projects in London, Gasholders has been selected to go through to the second stage of the competition. The award was established in 1987 and is awarded every two years to projects which emphasise the public role of architecture within the urban fabric across Europe. The shortlist of 40 will be announced in January with the overall winner announced in April.
