Communications Coordinator

WilkinsonEyre is seeking a proactive Communications and Marketing Coordinator to join their busy London office.

The ideal candidate will be confident and approachable with a keen interest in architecture and related fields. They will have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills and will work closely with colleagues at all levels on every aspect of communications and marketing activity. 

 

General

- Supporting and directed by the Head of Communications and Marketing

- Ensuring website is updated regularly and helping generate content with reference to SEO

- Assisting with events and exhibitions

- Supporting social media initiatives and campaigns

- Assisting with commissioning photography

- Supporting external liaison with PR Agency (Caro Communications)

 

Press/ Media 

- Assisting with press requests and fielding them internally

- Monitor and process press mention

- Maintain and update press cuttings database

  

Social Media

- Prepare social media plans and content with graphics support as required 

- Post across three platforms – Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin on regular basis in line with good practice

- Feedback and retweet associated posts (eg clients, consultants) as appropriate

 

Awards

- Collate and prepare information for awards submissions 

- Co-ordinate practice attendance at awards dinners and functions

- Maintain and update annual awards schedule

 

Internal Communications

- Responsible for drafting and distributing The WEek (in house weekly newsletter)

 In addition the above:

- Maintain and update Open Asset, the image resource platform

- Respond to student requests (ad hoc)

- Other administration as required 

 

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent command of written and spoken English

An eye for good images and graphics 

Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop essential

Familiarity/ competency with social media – both technically and culturally

Familiarity/ competency with content management systems

Knowledge of Open Asset an advantage

Head of BIM

WilkinsonEyre is looking for a London-based head of BIM.

WilkinsonEyre is recruiting a full time, permanent head of BIM to drive the BIM strategy for the office and assist on several exciting projects. 

We are especially keen to hear from those with proven experience in Revit and ideally Bentley OpenBuildings Designer (formerly AECOsim Building Designer) project setup along with a well-developed technical understanding of Revit/ OpenBuildings Designer issues.


Responsibilities:

BIM & Digital Production:

1. Update Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino3D templates as required

2. Organised and coordinate Revit, AutoCAD, OpenBuildings Designer and Rhino3D training

3. Revit, AutoCAD, OpenBuildings Designer and Rhino3D project support

4. Set up all Revit, OpenBuildings Designer and AutoCAD projects

5. Review and comment on BIM documentation

6. Create workflow and publish in the WilkinsonEyre Intranet

7. Collaborate with Rhino3D and Parametric Design groups

8. Review the WilkinsonEyre BIM Strategy

9. Update the WilkinsonEyre Digital Production Standards Manual as necessary

10.Research for new technologies and workflows

11.Check BIM model quality and compliance with WilkinsonEyre standards

12.Work with the Head of information systems on the development of the intranet as far as digital design solutions are concerned.

13.Build communities and networks of good practice that support effective digital design methods.

 

BIM & IT – Collaboration:

1. Software Licence Management: Work with WilkinsonEyre’s head of IT to manage CAD/BIM Licences and plugins

2. Software Version Updates: Inform IT when the updates need to be deployed across the company.

3. Analise Software’s usage to support the renewal process

4. Engage with software vendors for Revit plugins

5. Testing hardware and software performance

 

BIM & Bid Department:

1. Answer pre-qualification questionnaire to support bids

2. Create the Pre- BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for bids

 

BIM & Legal / Commercial:

1. Consult the Appointment

2. Inform commercial director and the project team about discrepancies between the Appointment and EIR or BEP

3. Attend the Wren BIM Forum and the Digital Design Leaders forum

4. Keep informed about industry standards changes

5. Create the BEP after contract award

 

BIM & Specification:

1. Engage with WilkinsonEyre head of specification to ensure that specification workflow has been correctly applied to projects

2.Ensure the NBS Chorus is correctly used in the Revit Projects

 

BIM & Health & Safety:

1. Provide advice on the BIM standard (PAS 1192-6:2018) that guides how H&S information is used on BIM models to mitigate risk, such as highlight potential hazards in the model

 

BIM & Project Resource

1. Provide and maintain the platform for resource analyses and staff skills

WilkinsonEyre has an exciting new Bid Coordination Assistant role in its friendly Central London office. This position is the perfect introduction to the creative and competitive world of architecture and is a great opportunity for candidates with an exceptional eye for detail who enjoy interacting at all levels to co-ordinate information in an efficient and approachable way.  Tasks include:

 

·       Assisting with bid and tender submissions including EOIs, SQ and ITTs

·       Create and maintain project marketing information and CVs

·       Monitoring tender trackers and other industry sources for new opportunities alongside Bid Manager

·       Gathering/compiling text and information from project leads and Directors

·       Maintain regular updates to the Project Database, Bid Library and Image Database systems

·       Maintain subscriptions for corporate memberships

·       Ad-hoc support to wider Media team, including preparing brochures and presentations and administrative tasks

·       Ad-hoc support and assisting with marketing events as required

 

We are happy to offer training for a person with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude who is:

·       Is capable and confident working under pressure
