BIM Coordinator

WilkinsonEyre is looking for a BIM coordinator in London.

WilkinsonEyre is recruiting a full-time, permanent BIM coordinator to assist on several exciting projects including prominent London based developments. We are especially keen to hear from those with proven experience in Revit set up on projects along with a well-developed technical understanding of Revit issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Revit project coordination and team support
  • liaise with the architectural team to ensure the standards are effectively communicated to project teams
  • manage and maintain project content
  • provide technical support for Revit and BIM softwares
  • provide one-to-one support on best practice in Revit to project teams as required
  • assist on projects – modelling and detailing
  • assist project teams in BIM project setup
  • create Revit families in response to project need
  • help to resolve BIM design issues
  • helping to deliver BIM projects in Revit technically

Qualities and skills required:

  • able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Revit with three-four years’ experience
  • Solibri knowledge
  •  Dynamo BIM experience
  •  experience of working in a project coordination role
  •  excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  •  able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information

Architects/Architectural Assistants

WilkinsonEyre is recruiting for permanent positions to join a major London based transport project.

This is a dynamic and growing team and several positions are available for talented architects (or architectural assistants with equivalent experience) with four to eight years’ experience post RIBA Part 2.

More experienced candidates should be able to demonstrate experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams across RIBA work stages 2 – 4. Transport experience, though not essential, is advantageous however, proven production and design development for envelope packages is an essential requirement for those with experience of up to eight years’ post-RIBA Part 2 or equivalent. Proficiency in MicroStation/AECOSim and Rhino preferable.

Sustainability Champion

WilkinsonEyre are expanding their sustainability team to support the design output of the practice and ensure good environmental design leads all that we do. This is a dynamic, pivotal role that would suite a charismatic individual with strong visual and communication skills, who will audit and encourage innovation in sustainable architecture and excellence in design, as well as providing clear and consistent thought leadership.

While we have some flexibility about the background and level of experience that is demanded, we envisage the ideal candidate will have the following;

  • A post-graduate qualification in environmental design or equivalent experience should be demonstrated
  • A good working knowledge of UK environmental design standards
  • A good understanding of computational design and environmental simulation processes
  • A post-graduate qualification in architecture and experience in architectural practice (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of embodied carbon process and use of 1 Click LCA (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong parametric skills: Rhino, Grasshopper, Ladybug, Honeybee

Based in London and working primarily on UK projects the role will also involve design review of our international portfolio of project work and liaison with our offices in Hong Kong, Sydney and Paris

Full or part time positions considered for the right candidate.

CG Artist

CG Artist

WilkinsonEyre is looking for a talented digital artist to join our central London office to work on a wide range of exciting projects in the UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for storytelling, artistic composition and lighting and a stylistic approach to imagery as well as photorealistic skills. Experience in Unreal Engine is essential. They will work as part of an in-house team working closely with the project teams to help develop the schemes producing artistic stylised imagery.

The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Unreal Engine

• 3D Studio Max

• Vray 

• Adobe Creative Suite

• Good written and spoken English

• Artistic interpretation and an eye for composition

• Architectural and/or a related graphics discipline

• Ability to provide creative input

• Be a dedicated self-starter

• Ability to manage work to tight deadlines
