Architects/Architectural Assistants

WilkinsonEyre is recruiting for permanent positions to join a major London based transport project.

This is a dynamic and growing team and several positions are available for talented architects (or architectural assistants with equivalent experience) with four to eight years’ experience post RIBA Part 2.

More experienced candidates should be able to demonstrate experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams across RIBA work stages 2 – 4. Transport experience, though not essential, is advantageous however, proven production and design development for envelope packages is an essential requirement for those with experience of up to eight years’ post-RIBA Part 2 or equivalent. Proficiency in MicroStation/AECOSim and Rhino preferable.

Senior Sustainability Champion

WilkinsonEyre is seeking a Senior Sustainability Champion to join our team in London.

We are expanding our sustainability team and looking for a candidate who is passionate about sustainable, low energy design and can drive the practice’s green agenda. This is a dynamic, pivotal role that would suit an individual with strong visual and communication skills, who will audit and encourage innovation in sustainable architecture and excellence in design and provide clear and consistent thought leadership.

We are seeking a candidate with 5-10 years of experience working in the built environment focusing on sustainability.

We envisage the ideal candidate will have the following:

• a postgraduate qualification in environmental design 

• a good working knowledge of UK environmental design standards

• a good understanding of computational design and environmental simulation processes

• knowledge of embodied carbon analysis and use of 1 Click LCA (or equivalent software)

• a good working knowledge of parametric skills: Ladybug, Honeybee (or equivalent software)

Based in London and working primarily on UK projects the role will also involve design review of our international portfolio of project work and liaison with our offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, and Paris.

CG Artist

CG Artist

WilkinsonEyre is looking for a talented digital artist to join our central London office to work on a wide range of exciting projects in the UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for storytelling, artistic composition and lighting and a stylistic approach to imagery as well as photorealistic skills. Experience in Unreal Engine is essential. They will work as part of an in-house team working closely with the project teams to help develop the schemes producing artistic stylised imagery.

The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Unreal Engine

• 3D Studio Max

• Vray 

• Adobe Creative Suite

• Good written and spoken English

• Artistic interpretation and an eye for composition

• Architectural and/or a related graphics discipline

Project BIM Manager

WilkinsonEyre is recruiting for a full-time, permanent project BIM manager to lead BIM utilisation on several exciting projects in London.

We are especially keen to hear from those with proven experience in facilitating architectural design through advanced modelling techniques and information management processes- especially across RIBA Stages 2 – 3.

Main responsibilities:

•oversee BIM coordinators and project BIM leads, and act as a liaison between project teams and the head of BIM

•organise/attend project BIM strategy and coordination meetings with external stakeholders

•develop strategies to deliver in and ensure compliance with the BIM execution plans and the WilkinsonEyre digital production standards

•develop and review the project BIM execution Plan (BEP) and supporting documentation in response to the exchange information requirements (EIR)

•ensure standards and information requirements are effectively communicated to project teams

•advise on and ensure best practice is followed in modelling and project setup

•provide high-level technical and software support to teams and individuals

•identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

•contribute to the ongoing development of WilkinsonEyre BIM infrastructure (standards, processes, templates, content)

•trial and promote new BIM-related software and technologies across the practice

Experience and skills:

•architectural background is preferred

•BIM management of large projects using Autodesk Revit

•project information management in line with ISO19650

•modelling and information management automation

•excellent written and verbal communication

•comfortable working with multiple teams on multiple projects

•able to manage sensitive, and sometimes confidential information

Software:

Mid Level BIM Coordinator
