WilkinsonEyre's Archi-Quest

LandAid Day is an annual event which calls for companies from across the property industry to raise money to help end youth homelessness.

For LandAid Day 2017 WilkinsonEyre hosted Archi-Quest, a fundraising event challenging teams to an architectural treasure hunt around London.

The day began at our offices on Bowling Green Lane, offering teams an introduction to LandAid’s work and the challenge which lay ahead. From there, teams were directed along a specially designed route following cryptic clues to discover secret histories, encounter classic architecture and get a closer look at some WilkinsonEyre projects.

A drinks reception marked the end of the race giving teams a well-earned chance to reflect on the day’s antics, and for us to announce the winners as the ‘The Birds’, from Robert Bird Group.

Archi-Quest raised a fantastic £3,136, with generous donations from Almacantar, Arup, Andy Sturgeon, BDP, BuroHapold, Craigewan, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, Holmes Wood, Max Fordham, Robert Bird and WSP. It was an exciting and exhilarating day; a great chance to gather together clients and consultants to support LandAid’s work in providing safe and suitable accommodation for young people facing homelessness.
