WilkinsonEyre is hiring a full-time, permanent BIM Coordinator to help with BIM implementation on several exciting projects. We are particularly interested in those with experience and enthusiasm in supporting architectural design through sophisticated modelling techniques and information management processes.
Responsibilities:
Support project teams
Contribute to project BIM strategy and coordination meetings with external stakeholders
Organize and lead internal BIM collaboration meetings
Communicate information requirements to project teams
Ensure compliance with the BIM execution plans and the WilkinsonEyre Digital Production Standards
Update the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and supporting documentation
Support project modelling, model management and troubleshooting software-related issues
Federate BIM models and data
Develop, manage, and maintain project content libraries
Manage spatial coordination - perform clash detections and produce reports
Monitor and review the progress of BIM deliverables against deadlines
Perform and/or delegate model maintenance.
Ensure suitability of the information for issue to the Common Data Environment (CDE)
Assist with the ongoing development of WilkinsonEyre BIM infrastructure (standards, processes, templates, content)
Experience-skills-attributes:
Architectural background ideal
Large project BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit
Project information management in line with ISO19650 and the UK BIM Framework
Good written and verbal communication
Self-confidence and persistence
Comfortable working with multiple teams on multiple projects, a team-player, and yet capable of working independently
Willingness to assist teams both with simple problems or more advanced inquiries and needs
Able to manage sensitive/confidential information
Software expertise:
Autodesk Revit (advanced)
Model review and data management software (Navisworks, Autodesk Model Checker for Revit, Autodesk BIM Interoperability tools, Ideate tools, pyRevit, Diroots…)
Common Data Environments and Coordination platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft SharePoint)
Visual programming (dynamo, grasshopper) and/or programming languages (Rhino Common API, Revit API - python/C#) -desirable
Rhino-Revit interoperability (Autodesk Data Exchange, Rhino.Inside.Revit) -highly desirable
Data visualisation (Microsoft Power BI) -desirable
AutoCAD 2D -desirable

WilkinsonEyre is looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic people to join our team working on current and future transport projects in the UK and internationally, from concept design through to construction support. Prior transport experience would be beneficial; the ability to work in Rhino, and Revit or AECOSim are strongly preferred. We are looking for a range of experience, from package runners to graduates with a couple of years’ experience.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in taking a lead role and proactivity in liaising with engineering and/or contractor counterparts and in driving forward design, facilitating approvals, and working with contractors to develop and sign-off design. You will be able to demonstrate a combination of design, technical and management skills and be able to take an active role in digital production. You will thrive working in a team environment in our vibrant practice culture. Previous experience on transport projects (particularly rail and metro) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Produce design and technical drawings
Produce presentation material, reports and models
Liaise with external consultants as appropriate
Maintain project primer as appropriate
Other tasks as reasonably required from time to time
Attend and contribute to studio meetings and Practice meetings
Keep up to date with the work of the Practice
Develop an appropriate understanding of HK & China legislation, planning, construction and health and safety
Requirements:
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good design eye and drawing skills, preferably by hand as well as CAD
Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and visually in Chinese and English, native Mandarin speaker to communicate with our China project clients
Knowledge of Revit and Rhino is preferable
Knowledge of Adobe packages
Qualifications:
RIBA Part I/II equivalent Hong Kong qualification
