Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2018

Every year, as part of WilkinsonEyre’s close relationship with the Royal Academy, our staff enjoy a private view of the Summer Exhibition. Along with pastries, coffees and juice, the event is a brilliant opportunity to have a look around the exhibition before the doors are opened to the public.

WilkinsonEyre is exhibiting two models in the architecture room this year, curated by Piers Gough. Sitting within the tall towers is our model of 6-8 Bishopsgate and Leadenhall Tower, a major City development. While on the other side of the room is our cluster of student accommodation pods, for the soon to be completed Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology.

The exhibition’s 250th anniversary is a spectacular collection of contemporary artworks from across the globe, expertly selected by this year’s coordinator, Grayson Perry. Not to be missed, the show continues until 19 August.
