WilkinsonEyre's Battersea Power Station designs go on display

The detailed designs for the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station will go on display at an on-site public exhibition from Tuesday 5 to Sunday 10 November 2013. The plans have been created by WilkinsonEyre in conjunction with a number of stakeholders, including English Heritage and Wandsworth Borough Council.

The redevelopment aims to preserve and restore the architectural splendour of the building, while opening it to public access and safeguarding it for the future. Key proposed features include open, unobstructed turbine halls, a central atrium and a public viewing platform offering panoramic views of London from the north-west chimney.
