Model in Los Angeles for fashion show
- 23/11/2006
The Skin + Bones exhibition, which opened on 19 November at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA), Los Angeles, explores parallel practices in fashion and architecture. It is the first major museum exhibition devoted investigating to the similarities between the two disciplines, and features over 40 leading members of the fashion and design communities.
The show, which features the ‘pleated’ form of Wilkinson Eyre’s ‘Bridge of Aspiration’ for the Royal Ballet School in London, will run until 5 March 2007 at the museum’s building at 250 South Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.
More information is available from the museum’s website at www.moca.org or in the exhibition catalogue, available from architecture and design bookshops
