WilkinsonEyre shortlisted for Public Building Architect of the Year Award

It was announced today that WilkinsonEyre has been shortlisted for Building Design's Architect of the Year Awards 2017 in the Public Building Architect of the Year category. The practice's recently completed public buildings include the Weston Library for Oxford University and transformation of the Wellcome Collection in London. Current projects include a Centre for Horticultural Science and Learning for RHS Wisley, and brand-new Medicine Galleries for London's Science Museum.  BD editor Thomas Lane said: “I am really encouraged by the quality, quantity and breadth of this year’s entries." The number of entries, which was 280, was up on last year’s record with winners due to be announced during the Ecobuild exhibition at the ExCel Centre in London on 8 March 2017.
