• Images of Ceramics Galleries Link Bridge released

Wilkinson Eyre has released images of its latest bridge - The Ceramics Galleries Link Bridge at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum (the V&A). The 7.5 metre footbridge provides a stepped escape route from the V&A’s newly refurbished Ceramics Galleries across an external space to the adjacent Secretariat block. This functional requirement has been beautifully resolved with a dramatic and elegantly detailed structural form. 

A simple folded, perforated stair plate is supported within a series of steel frames arranged at regular centres demonstrating the spatial potential of contemporary design and construction techniques.
