Four awards for WilkinsonEyre at the Civic Trust Awards 2014

WilkinsonEyre won four awards at the Civic Trust Awards ceremony on Friday 7 March, 2014.

Splashpoint Leisure Centre in Worthing, Poole Harbour Second Crossing and the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth all won Civic Trust Awards. The Mary Rose Museum also received the Michael Middleton Special Award, for an exemplar conservation project, or new build within a conservation area.

Victor Rose, of the Civic Trust Awards National Panel, said of the Mary Rose Museum: "By combining delicate conservation, contemporary architecture and specialist technical expertise, a truly unique design has been created. This iconic building of the 21st century nestles comfortably within the historic area of the dockyard. It epitomises Michael Middleton's philosophy of good practice in conservation areas and ensuring the wellbeing of our historic towns and cities."
